Volunteer with us

Introducing new volunteer opportunities for 2024!

A great opportunity to spend time outdoors with like-minded people, learn about growing food and help us to produce more nutritious veggies for our community.

We’ll be running regular volunteer days from April-November, and you’ll take home a bountiful veg box in return for your help on the farm.

These opportunities work well for those of you wanting a regular commitment on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Like Community shared agriculture projects all over, we aim to be an exciting example of what healthier food systems can look like when farmers and their communities come together. So come and get your hands dirty with us and be a part of your local farms story.

Seasonal traineeships

This year we want to invite enthusiastic and dedicated seasonal trainee growers to come and learn alongside us and continue to develop and expand our CSA project and little Organic market Garden

We will be offering three-month placements across the season (May, June, July) (August, September, October).  Trainees will live on the farm and gain valuable experiences in becoming involved with Organic growing, working and living off -Grid and running a CSA or market Garden. With our project being very much in its infancy still, there is huge scope for you to contribute to how our farms future is shaped. These really are exciting times here, with so much going on and so much for you to be involved in, from new constructions, erecting polytunnels, building new no-dig growing spaces, garden planning, biodiversity projects, composting, marketing a young business and assisting with workshops. We hope that these traineeships will hold value across a broad spectrum of interest and expertise.

To find out more and arrange an informal chat/farm visit please email me at offgridorganics.camilla@gmail.com telling me a little about yourself and why you’d like to come and work with us.
